Meet the Team

Kathleen Suite
President
Kathleen Suite is a graduate of Concordia University (BCom Finance & Accounting). After 20 plus years as a financial controller in two medium-sized private organizations, she now runs her own business, providing tax and accounting services to individuals, corporations and charitable organizations.
Kathleen is a firm believer in the principle of “giving back” to one’s own community and the wider community at large. She is especially passionate about education and how is impacts our youth. At BASF, she incorporates this passion as well as her accounting knowledge to ensure that the scholarship fund remains a viable and sustainable venture.
She has served as a past president, treasurer and member of the now defunct Montreal Association of Black Business Persons and Professionals, been financial warden of St. Gabriel’s Parish (St. Hubert, QC), and is now currently Secretary of Montméd Inc., a pharmaceutical distributor in Quebec.

Nicole Piggott
Vice-President, Chair Strategy and Outreach
Nicole Piggott has spent her career championing inclusive workplaces. Nicole is the President and Founder of Synclusiv Inc. Before, she held senior leadership positions at Women in Governance before which she held senior leadership positions at Bombardier, Aerospace, RioTinto, Iron Ore Company of Canada (IOCC), and FedEx Canada. Nicole has channelled her inclusiveness and sustainability through her role as the President of the Impact Board (formerly Partnership Africa Canada), and Member of the Board at the National Safety Council.
Ms. Piggott has been a speaker at several Canadian Universities such as Toronto Metropolitan University, University of Ottawa, Guelph University, McGill University and Concordia University. She is a member of the global Affairs Canada, Gender and Trade Advisory Group and is a member of the CN – Paul M. Tellier Chair on Business and Public Policy research project team evaluating Business-Government Cooperation on Managing COVID-19 in Canada.

Gabrielle Piggott
Chair of Marketing & Outreach
Gabrielle Piggott is a Manager of Marketing and Consultancy at Synclusiv, where she contributes to all aspects of the business from product design and marketing to business development client support on DE&I initiatives. With a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in Gender, Sexuality, Feminist, and Social Justice Studies and minors in Art History and Communication Studies, Gabrielle is a passionate advocate for diverse and intersectional representation in both her professional and personal life.
Her dedication to equity and social justice has fuelled her involvement with non-profit organizations, including the Black Academic Scholarship Fund, Groupe Intervention Vidéo, and Apathy is Boring. At Synclusiv, Gabrielle also manages communication and marketing efforts, playing a key role in branding, “The Sync” newsletter, and enhancing the company’s social media presence.

Nathalie Perreault
Chair of Scholarship Program
Nathalie Perreault is the founder of NPC Consultants inc., an HR consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations and individuals unlock their full potential through strategic talent solutions and personalized coaching. With a strong foundation in business development from her years in the financial services industry, she brings a unique blend of analytical insight and people-focused strategy to every engagement.
A firm believer in access to education for all, she champions initiatives that support lifelong learning and equitable opportunities in the workplace. Passionate about empowering growth, she partners with clients to build thriving cultures and resilient leadership teams.

Allison Saunders
Secretary
Allison is a Mother and, an “Accidental Activist”, a Digital Content Strategist at Concordia University and more. In 2020, she was appointed as a co-opted commissioner and the Lester B Pearson School Board to assist with their commitment to fighting racism in their schools and centers. She is also on the Board of Directors of Overture with the Arts (OWTA), a non-profit organization that uses the arts as a vehicle for education and creative exploration and where students are introduced to elements of history, social and cultural change, Recognizing the need for change in her community, Allison co-organized the West Island Takes and Knee anti-racism protest in June 2020 and continues to use her voice to work towards a diverse and inclusive community in which all citizens feel welcome.

Glen Gunning
Board Director
Glen Gunning attended Kingston College and the Jamaica School of Agriculture before immigrating to Canada in 1970. In Canada, as a Chartered Insurance Broker (CAIB), he successfully practiced as a Life, Property & Casualty Insurance professional for 30 years. His involvement in the Montreal community has been extensive. He is a past President of both the Jamaica Association of Montreal and Montreal Association of Black Business Persons and Professionals (MABBP).
Mr. Gunning is a dedicated family man. He and his wife of 50 years, Dr. Pamela Gunning, and the proud parents of two accomplished daughters, Claudine and Roxane.
